The Story of Christmas

On Tuesday the 8th of December we celebrated the Feast of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. All of our class bubbles visited our village crib to say prayers and to sing songs. It also coincided with the turning on of the Christmas lights in Ballyboy village. Later in the day we stood in our bubbles, socially distant and sang Christmas Carols as we watched the turning on of the Christmas lights in the village. As is tradition in the village a St. Vincent de Paul collection was left at the school gate and many of the community made generous donations to this very worthy cause.
