Pride of Place
Ballyboy Community Development were entered into the IPB National Pride of Place Awards 2023 by Offaly County Council. Pride of Place is an all-island competition that acknowledges the work that communities are doing across the island of Ireland. The competition focus is about people coming together to shape, change and improve daily lives in their communities. The judges for the competition visited our village on Wednesday. Our Local Development Group and wider community have done immense work over the past number of weeks and left no stone unturned in showcasing our village and presenting the very best of Ballyboy to the judges.
The children of Scoil Bhríde were delighted to play a part in the event. A special thanks to our Local Development Group for your generosity in providing the children with treats on the day.
