Christmas Jumper Fun Day

Friday 27th of November was a day to remember in Ballyboy. We hosted a Christmas Jumper Fun Day. Not only did it get us into the Christmas Spirit for watching the Late Late Toy Show that night, but we also got to experience the gift of giving.

We would like to thank our wonderful, altruistic and kind school community for giving so generously to our fundraiser for our friends in Ewuaso, Kenya. We can proudly say that we have raised over €2000 for the benefit and betterment of their school community. Thank you all so much!
Our day was full of fun. Our teachers hosted parties in our individual bubbles where we completed activity books, watched movies, drank hot chocolate, ate all kind of goodies and each child received a Folens Christmas Annual to keep us all occupied on these dark evenings. We all got a wonderful surprise when Mr. Madden arrived with his boom box so we could sing our favourite Christmas Carols socially distanced. We were blessed with a beautiful sunny, yet frosty day. If you were lucky you might have heard our singing in the open air.
