Archeological Dig in Ballyboy

Many thanks to Ballyboy Community Development Committee who invited our pupils to observe the Archeological Dig taking place beside the river on the site of our new Community Hall. We all enjoyed seeing some of the artifacts that the Archeologists had discovered at previous digs in Ireland. We learned so much about the soil and topography of the site in Ballyboy. The children even commented that it was the best History lesson they had in a long time!!
