Pizza Day
5th and 6th class children kicked off our cooking classes with an Easy Peasy Pizza Day led by food writer and author Nessa Robins. With plenty of choice of toppings, the children had great fun building their own pizza creations. The scone-based pizza recipe we used was ideal for younger cooks to work with, without the need to wait on dough to rise. The skills the children learned will now be passed on throughout the school as part of our Creative Schools Initiative, with 5th and 6th class students leading cooking classes with the younger children.
